Help for a Fellow Burr!
The Alumni Association has been asked by friends of John Newman ’87 to inform fellow Burrs John’s neighbors and friends are organizing benefits to assist John, his wife and six children. John is suffering from a life threatening medical condition, and his friends and neighbors would like to assist John and his family with the massive medical bills and to show support for them in this very difficult time.
The next benefit will be held on Friday, May 30th from 7 pm to 11 pm at St. Andrew Parish’s McGettigan Hall, School Lane and Foss Ave., Drexel Hill. Tickets are $25 and include Refreshments and light snacks. A Silent Auction will be held. Donations for the Raffle Baskets, Baskets of Cheer, or Silent Auction are needed.
If you are unable to attend, or if you receive this notice after the event, but would like to send a donation to the family, please make checks payable to: St. Andrew Church and mail it to: Saint Andrew Church 3500 School Lane Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Please mark your envelope “Attention Newman Benefit”
